The Gospel

We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is our only access to have peace with God:

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” -Romans 5:1-2

The gospel is simply the message of the Bible coming to full completion in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the good news of the gospel: He left his heavenly throne and became flesh on this earth through a virgin birth. Jesus lived in perfect obedience to God, and lived a sinless life that we could not live. This perfect obedience meant he was the perfect sacrifice to take the punishment for our sin, and he bore the wrath of God on the behalf of sinners. By these things He has made a way for each person to be saved from the ultimate consequences of his or her sins.
